• June 23-26, 12-2pm

    Ages: 9-12 years old. Learn to draw Spidey, Hulk & More. Students will explore how to study and draw a figure, making an object look real, the power of perspective. Multi-media (pencil, pen, watercolor & gouache). Bring a small art supply case of drawing pencils, colored pencils, micro pens, artist markers & a small sketch book (other supplies provided).   • July 7-10. 9:30 AM - 2:00 PM

    Grades 2nd - 7th. In this 4 day art camp students will experience different mediums and techniques. They will dabble in drawing, painting, printmaking and some 3D projects. Each camper will create 2 - 3 art projects a day. Each day the campers will have lunch at the SHAC, then go to central park for 30 - 45 minutes. On the last day there will be an art show at 1:30pm. Each week of camp will have different projects.

    The price of camp comes with a t-shirt which the students will tie dye during the week. You may also choose to purchase an art kit from the instructor on the first day of camp (bring $20 cash) or bring your own supplies:

  • Zoo Animals Art Camp

    July 7-10, 9:30am-12pm

    Ages: 5-7 years (kdg-1st grade). Summer Art Camp: Zoo Animal Adventures! Join us for a wild and creative week at Summer Art Camp: Zoo Animal Adventures! Young artists will explore the animal kingdom through hands-on art projects inspired by their favorite zoo animals. From colorful parrots to roaring lions, campers will use paint, clay, collage, and more to bring their animal creations to life.

    Through storytelling, movement, and interactive art-making, children will develop their creativity while learning fun facts about different animals and their habitats. Each day will feature a new zoo animal and an exciting project to match!

  • Slime Making & Sensory Bottles with an Ocean Theme

    July 11th, 10-11:30am

    Ages: 5-8 years old. We will learn the science behind the art of making slime, explore different textures and create two cups of slime to take home, “sand” slime and “under the sea” slime! We will also learn the science of density and design a “tide wave” bottle using oil, water, glitter and more. These are such fun to enjoy playing with at home for moments when a “calm down” activity is needed.

  • Papercrafting Kids Camp

    Monday, July 14th 10am-2pm

    7-12 years old. Make a variety of handmade cards, a cute paper bag mini album, fun fold bookmarks, and a stamped birthday bag at this one-day Papercrafting Kids Camp! Bring a sack lunch and a positive attitude!

  • Creative Kids Class: Garden Critters & Wind Chimes

    Ages: 5-7 years old (kdg-1st grade). Creep, crawl, and flutter into a week of creative fun at Summer Art Camp: Bugging Out with Insects! Young artists will explore the tiny but fascinating world of insects through hands-on art projects inspired by butterflies, bees, beetles, and more.

    Each day, campers will discover a different insect and bring it to life using paint, clay, collage, and other fun materials. Through storytelling, movement, and interactive art-making, children will spark their creativity while learning cool facts about these amazing creatures and their important roles in nature.

  • Create Your Own Colorful Sensory Play Filler

    July 25th, 10-11:30am

    Ages: 5-8 yrs old. Explore the basics of color theory, learning about warm/cool colors, as well as primary & complimentary colors too. Miss Kelly will help each child plan a theme for their filler colors using what they learn, and design a filler made of dyed rice, chickpeas, and pasta. We’ll explore different textures & how they work together to scoop and pour. Then shake it all up using liquid watercolors and acrylic paint in order to create a fun bag of filler to bring home for more sensory play.

  • Waves of Creativity Summer Art Camp

    July 28-31 9:30am-2pm

    Ages: 5-13. Get ready to dive into a week of seaside-inspired art and adventure! In this fun-filled beach art camp, kids will explore the magic of the ocean through creative projects that bring the shore to life. Each day will focus on a new beach-themed activity, from painting vibrant underwater scenes to creating seashell mosaics, decorating driftwood, and experimenting with sand art to make unique keepsakes. Instructor: Natalie Assemany, K-12 Art Teacher. Comes with a camp t-shirt which students will decorate during the week.

    August 11-14, 9:30am-12pm

    Ages: 5-7 years old (kdg-1st grade). Roar into a week of prehistoric fun at Summer Art Camp: Dino-Mite! Young artists will journey back in time to explore the world of dinosaurs through exciting hands-on art projects. From towering T. rexes to spiky Stegosauruses, campers will use paint, clay, collage, and more to bring their favorite dinosaurs to life.

    Each day, children will discover a different dinosaur species while learning fun facts about these ancient creatures and their prehistoric world. Through storytelling, movement, and creative art-making, they’ll unleash their imagination in a Jurassic adventure like no other!

    Get ready for a dino-rific week filled with creativity, discovery, and roaring good fun!

    Ages: 9-12 years old. Make Your Own Comic Book Page & Cover. Learn composition & drawing of superheros - focus will be on drawing the human head (& not so human head).
