Monthly Meeting Information:
The Village Fine Arts Association (VFAA) is excited to announce a new schedule for our monthly meetings, now held on the second Monday of each month from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. These gatherings are dedicated to fostering a vibrant and inclusive artistic community, serving as a hub for local artists and art enthusiasts alike.
Each meeting kicks off with an inspiring guest speaker session from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM, where we welcome talented local artists—ranging from seasoned professionals to emerging talents—to share their experiences, insights, and creative processes. It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn from and engage with diverse artistic perspectives.
After the guest speaker presentation, we take a short break to socialize, network, and connect with fellow members. During this time, we also cast votes for the Artist of the Year Award, a cherished tradition that celebrates outstanding contributions to our local art scene.
At approximately 7:45 PM, the VFAA convenes its formal meeting. This portion is dedicated to discussing key topics like upcoming events, workshops, classes, and collaborative opportunities. It’s a time for members to share ideas, showcase their work, and contribute to the growth and vitality of our artistic community.
Our meetings are open to everyone—whether you’re an established artist, an aspiring creative, or someone who simply loves and appreciates art. We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming and supportive environment where people from all backgrounds can come together to celebrate art, creativity, and community.

Artist’s of the Year
The Artist of the Year Competition is a highlight of our annual calendar, eagerly anticipated by members of the Village Fine Arts Association. At each monthly meeting, members have the opportunity to showcase their creativity by bringing up to two pieces of their own artwork for display. During the meeting, attendees cast their votes for their favorite pieces, with even our guest speaker participating in the selection process. Throughout the year, these votes are tallied, culminating in the announcement of the winners at our much-celebrated annual holiday party. This competition not only recognizes and honors the outstanding artistic talent within our community but also fosters a sense of camaraderie and appreciation for the diverse range of artistic expressions among our members.
